Your question

Crossfire performance constant ingame freezes

December 12, 2012 1:16:39 AM

I have a question regarding the issues with crossfire.
I can play battlefield at ultra settings at 170fps with 65% gpu usage on both cards running around 60-70 degrees. I am getting really choppy performance and in game freezes in gta iv and assassins creed 3 also huge fps drops and spikes.
GTA iv avg fps is 20-25 assassins creed 3 is anywhere from 70-85fps all settings high. I am running 1920x1080 single monitor.

Also when i run hwinfo or gpuz after 10 mins gameplay my pc locks up. I have tried ULPS disabled and enabled. TDR is set to 0. I am using 12.11beta11 drivers with cap profiles installed.

I have tried all the drivers from 12.7 to 12.11 and i dont see any changes.
Everything runs smooth when crossfire is disabled but I would like to figure out the issue.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
