ASUS GTX 680 Direct CUii top 2gb vs EVGA GTX 680 CLassfied 4gb

Hi, I am building a new system and I am crossed between these two cards the gtx 680 direct cuii top and the Classified which one is better do I really need 4gb of gpu memory or is this just a marketing tactic trying to get people to buy 4gb cards because it is more ''Future Proof'' I will be gaming at 1920x1200 at dual screens or a single LED 1080p 50 Inch tv with skyrim High res texture packs do I really need the 4gb card thanks. I also dont upgrade that often because being a high school student still and working part time at mcdonalds I dont have a great income yet so I will be using what ever card I choose for a while thanks.

The 680 and 670 slow down a lot when using more than 2GB of ram since their 256 bit bandwidth can't handle that much.

If you want to future proof, get a 7970. It is stronger, cheaper, and has 3 GB of ram + 384 bit.
