Will GTX 790 run on an i7-3770K CPU

Nvidia Geforce GTX 790 is coming out soon. Will the i7-3770K CPU bottleneck its performance or will the video card run flawlessly on the i7-3770K stock or overlocked.

I am already getting an i7-3770K. How good will it be able to run GTX 790.. It cannot be a bottle neck.

Also, didn't they postponed the release Haswell (i7-4880k) to 2014?

well, its very hard to make accurate assumptions at the moment. But with decent amount of overclocking, you may be able to run the gtx790, but we cant simply state that it will/won't bottleneck at the moment since we dont know anything about the gtx790.

But since a gtx690 ran okay with a second gen i7 2600k(when overclocked to 4.5ghz+), I'd say you are likely to have no problems regarding bottlenecks with the gtx790 and an overclocked i7 3770k. That is my hypothesis.

Haswell isn't going to be majorly faster by the looks of it and you almost certainly won't bottleneck as no games as yet is majorly cpu limited.

But it's all theory as no-one can know.
