I don't get your post. What are you trying to point out.

Almost every review I have read shows the 660ti slightly ahead.

We all know it goes 7950<660ti<7970,670gtx<680Gtx

Just wait a year from now when you want more than a 2GB memory buffer, then the 7950 makes more sense, but yeah, both are good choices for different reasons!
