Front USB ports acting up

Please help if you can.

My back USB ports work just fine. I have four front USB ports, two of them are USB2.0, two are 3.0.

When I plug in my ipod touch in the front sometimes the auto play window pops us dozens of times in a row, like the PC sees that the ipod is plugged in but then forgets it and re-finds it. This is regardless of whatever front port I plug it in to. Sometimes it works fine though.

Do I need to update my USB drivers or something? I am using an MSI Z77a-G45 motherboard. I do not see any USB drivers on their site.
