i have an AMD 1.33 gig Tbird CPU. It usually runs at about 35 degrees celsius but the damn fan is just to loud!! so far i've spent over $150 on fans but I have failed to find one silent enough. right now I have setteled for a thermal take ORB 3 1135A. It is still unbareably loud. can anybody recomend a queit yet cool running fan to me?

I run a T-bird 1.2 GHz. I went from the Retail fan (noisy) to an old Alpha 6035 w/ Sunon 60mm fan (quieter) to an Alpha 8035 with a Panaflo 1LA (low speed) 80 mm fan. It cools just as well as the 6035 (around 38 C) but was even quieter. It's spec'ed at 21 dBa, compare to 33 dBa for the Sunon and God only knows for the retail HSF

All my fords broke. None of my intel's broke. I have had several issues with VIA chipsets though.

You could have a kick-@$$ watercooling system for that. A KICK-@$$ WATERCOOLING SYSTEM!!!!

What about installing some dynamat's in your system? That'd get rid of your noise problem

I also have good experience with Panaflo fans. They are very quite.

I dont know if this is true or not.
but people say the TMD fan by YS tech is quiet
and works really well. Never seen any where
selling it before but you can try.
