BUDGET BUILD I NEED HELP

You'll be happy with the 8 cores with rendering if you con get the extra few bucks, but if not you can change the FX8350 to the FX6300 and you'll still be good with the 6 cores but it will be a bit cheaper.

Just out of curiousity, why AMD processors instead of Intel?

In most cases intel CPUs will out preform AMD CPUs, but for budget machines, most of the time your better off going with AMD. The intel i5-3570k will out preform the 8350 by a little but it's 20$ more. Though the 6300 will out preform the i3 but its about 10$ more. So in your budget you could get a pretty weak intel build or a pretty decent AMD build.

I spent about the same on my gaming/rendering PC. These are my specs:

Intel i3 3220 3.3GHz (can get a 6 core AMD one for same price but games only utilise 1 core most of the time)
AMD raedon HD 7750
8Gb RAM
H77 chipset motherboard (with 1155 socket for the i3)
500Gb HDD
400W PSU

I get about 200fps on minecraft, 120fps on portal and 40-60 on GTA 4

If you want to game on it DanBrown's build is great but for rendering you don't need a good GPU so you can take that money and get a better CPU, like the FX8350.

If you guys could help me make a costly build, i will not be doing really any gaming at all. maybe a TINY bit but that is it. basically just regular use (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc) and rendering vids and uploading gameplays and commentaries

This build is 520$ upfront but there is a 20$ mail-in rebate so you can get 20$ back afterwards. If you want the money fir this build it will be about the best you can get, for editing, without getting an i7.
