Hi, this is my first time attempting to build a computer. I selected computer parts online and I was wondering if there are any compatibility issues between any of the components. Also, if there is any better choice for any component for a similar or lower price in Canada, that would be appreciated as well.

No, I don't recommend going with 1 stick as this eliminates the functionality of dual channel memory lanes.
