I have downloaded PC Suite 6.5, but 6.41.6 won't uninstall. Just endlessly
says it has and reboots.
I downloaded Nokia System Registry Clean 2.1 which does nothing, merely
reporting no registry entire to be deleted.
Can any one help. Or, can anyone provide an email for Nokia support, as they
hide email support addresses on their website very effectively.
This is very frustrating, as I like PC Suite, and it works well for me. Why
Nokia are incapable of writing software that can update previous versions
defeats me. Other vendors seem to manage it. Even Microsoft.
BobT in frustration.

Have you tried to start PC Suite 6.41 installation using it's original
installation package? Or have you tried to repair installation by
selecting "Repair"?

I had that problem with an older version, i just renamed the nokia folder in
Program Files and it worked ok after that.

This is what every recent PC Suite has done for me, the installer
reports the presence of the previous version and asks to uninstall it
before installing the new one. This has worked just fine for me after I
sorted out an unwell external USB hub.

At least you have one version installed. I can't install on my system.
The installer aborts just before its finished (while "Publishing..."
something). And gives no reason (and Nokia support has no suggestions
other than aø I have tried myself). Anyone got any ideas for me?

Thanks to all for all the advice. Last time I had this problem I had to use
Regedit to remove about 1000 entries, was hoping to avoid the same. Looks as
though I will have to resort to that, as nothing else suggested has worked.
Great feedback, very much appreciated.
BobT in thanks
