I ordered a new pc and it came with a 78LMT-USB3 and i installed my amd hd radeon 6870. This motherboard appears to have integrated graphics and it also appears to be overriding the gfx card.
In BIOS if i disable the graphics card then it will work fine, however after shutdown or restart it will (i think) try to start up again with integrated graphics and ignore my gfx card. I have tested the gfx card on planetside 2 and it operates perfect.
I cannot find an option in my BIOS with this mobo that changes priority to PCI-E over onboard, only the option to disable it which encounters the problem i mentioned before.
Since every timer i shut down my pc I have to restart my BIOS through removing and resetting the battery which requires the removal of my graphics card to get at it, this is a time consuming process and very irritating.
When i disable the drivers in device manager, it does not pick up the 6870 at all, it just operates without the drivers and if I uninstall those drivers then it automatically reinstalls them.
Very confused any help would be appreciated.
