Hi ,

I am looking forward to building a new setup for home as im done with the tardiness of my mac book pro 2010.
The applications I plan to run most on the new pc are Autocad , 3ds max and photoshop . All 2012/2013 versions. I be getting the software from my company.
Gaming on this system would be occasional at most yet not non-existent.
Please suggest a build within the budget of around 1500-2000(MAX!) $ which can give me decent performance for above softwares. Also , kindly shed some light on this fuss about workstation cards like quadro. why are they so expensive ? are they worth the price difference from similar architecture normal cards in terms of performance ? Will they not be able to run any game at all ?

Thanks

EDIT: Kindly limit the budget to a max of 1500 $ , I just figured I wont be able to fork out more at the moment.
