I have read many reviews that these cards overclock very well. Many are able to achieve 7.6Ghz memory and up to 1.3Ghz core.
I am fairly new to overclocking, I overlocked my cpu, I5-2500k, to 4.6GHz with no issues, but only because my asus motherboard allowed me to do so with a single click in the bios.
Videocard overclocking, on the other hand, seems a lot more complex. The videocard came with an overclocking tweaking tool. There are just way to many options to tweak. For example, it allows me to increase the core and memory voltage, and a option to increase power to 125%. What is this 125% increase mean? Is there a formula that I need to use to figure out how much voltage I need to overclock the memory to 7.6Ghz and core to 1.3Ghz?
Is there an easier overclocking tool that I can use, something that just has a slider bar which allows me to adjust the memory and core speed, and automatically adjusts the voltage for me?
