New graphics card

A friend of mine asked to put this up here:
Looking to upgrade his graphics card, upgrading from a GT 315, as it is terrible for gaming. Any suggestions?

2.60 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Multi-core (6 total)
Board: Acer RS880M05
4GB RAM
300W PSU

There's the 7750 amd, best card without external pcie power from psu, or the 6670 for less.

I have a Sapphire 7750 in my pc (300w PSU) and it is pretty damn good, but my friend who owns this pc is a bit tight with money atm, are there any slightly cheaper alternatives without a big performance decrease? Something that can FRAPS HD games like left 4 dead 2 on Med-High spec? Im not looking for something that can play games like Battlefield 3 or Crysis 2 etc.
