why not play some games and find out?

The cpu is mid range these days and very power hungry but it will work

You will run everything for years but not on max. As Outlander said, it's a fairly mid range CPU at the moment.

well bf3 plays easily maxed at ultra at 70fps + on 64 player maps even on the bigger maps. however i do notice that it drops sometimes randomly to like 52fps for a like a nanosecond being the lowest ive ever seen go down though i think that is a cpu limiting factor

Judging by your graphic card and your overall specs i would rate this rig 8/10 for gaming.
I have no doubt that you'll be able to play most games on high settings.
Core I 7 930 is not a bad processor.
Only in some games CPU's play its part.
GTX 680 can handle everything

The only problem will be your ELECTRICITY BILLS!
