Only need a modem

i have ATT DSL and my modem has gone bad. Has anybody had any luck with any modems other than the overpriced modems ATT sells. All I need is the modem, I have a router which I like

AT&T will have a list of models compatible with their system. Pretty much any DSL modem should work.
