Nvidia geforce 6800 xt casuses lines because of over heating

Hello,
my graphic card causes vetical line experts says that its because of overheating how do i fix it (wthout baking it in the oven or else)

clean the heatsink and replace the thermal paste. if your fan supports manual fan control you can increase the fan speed as well via third party software
