Need somehelp

i've been a long time ps3 and xbox 360 gamers but I want to get into some pc I really want to play civ5: gods and kings and the new simcity( i cant wait for it )and maybe tabble in diablo3 or tourchlight2 . I'd like to build my own pc i just need help with what i need to play these games i have about $1000 to spend less would be great,leave some room for games, Any help would be Great.

no i have a mouse, keyboard , did i going to use my 32'' samsung as my screen
