Hello,
For my budget CUDA computing platform doing Monte Carlo simulation I was considering:

MB: ASUS P9X79 B0064L8UJM
GPU: Four Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Ti GV-N66TWF2-2GD
CPU: Intel i7-3820, 3.6GHz, 10MB Cache BX80619I73820
COOL: Noctua 6 Heatpipes NH-D14 SE2011
RAM: Four Kingston HyperX Beast 4GB 2400MHz DDR3 KHX24C11T3K4/16X
SSD: SAMSUNG 830 256GB SATA III MZ-7PC256B/WW
Does that make sense? Or do I have a bottleneck somewhere?

there is no advantage using X79 mobo if you still use 4 core i7
it shines with 3930K with 6 cores

instead of using 4x 660 TI, why not 2x 670? less power requirement, and each has 256-bus width.
