Hey all,
Am hoping for a little help with a skyrim issue. I have an intel i7 3610QM 2.3GHz, 16 GB or ram and an nvidia GTX 660M graphics card. Previously I could run skyrim at ultra graphics with a solid 55+ fps. Stopped playing due to being over stretched at work and then came back after a few months and my FPS is awful. 10 to 24 range regardless of how far I turn down the graphics. No idea what could have changed. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Regards,
Chris.

Have you tried other games ? if other games are running ok then its mostly a game data issue, if other games are facing same problems then update your GPU drivers and retry
Note : if something fatal happened to the gpu it won't give you lower FPS, it will not even work, do don't worry

uninstall and reinstall your drivers ( after you test the other games )...

this being a laptop, have you changed the power settings in windows? Do you have it plugged into the charger while gaming?

what sort of temps is it running at? could be a dust/throttling problem on the GPU.
