Component compatibility

I'm trying to make the cheapest build possible for the specs i want.
here's a list, i need to know if these parts are compatible with each other.:

another thing, can i just throw in any sized hard drive? i had a couple old ones laying around i figured i could just hook them up anything i need to know specifically about that?
