Hello...Ive just built an ABIT KG7 and AMD XP 1700 with DDR PC 2100 RAM and the internal Supra Max modem Ive installed is not seen using the WIN 98 diagnostics. I also am unable to install the SUPRA drivers for that 56K modem. How can I get this modem operational and what is the problem?

All replies welcome.

Thank you

you mich try using an other pci slot, sometimes to damn thing won't work with some hardware like modems and network adapters. and if you have tryed that already, you should try to se if there are any jumpers on the modem and set them otherwise.

have you seen in the My Computer->Properties->Device Manager->Other Devices a device called PCI Communication Device?

If it is there, remove that device and click on refresh, windows will ask for its drivers.

Some modems require you to intall the software first. Isn't there a "setup.exe" file on the disc?
