7950 low performance

just got this computer on saturday, the first 2 nights i was playing far cry 3, nfs mw n bf3 on ultra settings. now i cant even run the games on low-medium setting without getting a low frame rate. i installed the latest drivers and checked the index score. first night the scores were all high 7's except the hard drive. now my graphics n gaming graphics are 6.5. i have no idea wtf happened. i have steam,origin,uplay downloaded. the games i have are l4d2,bf3,nfs-mw,far cry 3,tf2,blacklight. i got metro 2033 free but cancelled the download after i got an error when downloading, i also downloaded razer game booster which i also think might have screwed up the card. could also be a faulty card. HELP ME!!!!! this sucks

windows 7 64 bit
8 gb ram
800w psu (yeah i know its too much but im planning for future upgrades)

far cry 3 has low frame rate even when im on the lowest possible settings, i have v sync off, aa off, etc but still the frame rate is horrible. nfs i have it set to low-medium settings but it still lags me all over the road, i cant even finish a race. bf 3 i play on low settings but yet again i have low frame rate
