Windows 7 & HP DV8211TX

Hi I have a HP Laptop DV8211tx which is an older dual core machine running at 1.66 GHZ. Every time i try and install Windows 7 i get the Blue Screen of Death. By now your saying what is the error code, well thats part of my problem it flashes up so quick then the PC reboots. This machine Runs XP Pro no problems at all. I have this problem with Clean Install and/or Upgrade. I even deleted partitions and re-installed XP and still cant upgrade. I have run Microsoft advisor and it says all good for Windows 7. Now i am not what you call a PC Genius but i would like to think I know my way around a PC and its configs. I should also say it copys files and expands them ok the problem occurs after first restart.

After running through it a few more times i managed to capture the error code: Stop: cc000021a {Fatal System Error} The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a Status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000001 0x00100410). The System has been shut down. Thanks in advance for any help....
