HI

I just got everything on the mail today all the PC components but i still need a graphics card and i was wondering if crysis 2, the witcher 2 and hitman absolution will be able to play on the integrated graphics which is a intel HD3000 my specs are:

Core i5 2500k 3.3 GHz NOT overclocked

8GB corsair dominator platinum 1866MHz

Asus sabertooth z77

Thermaltake smart m750w

intel HD3000

720p Samsung TV

Hitachi 7200RPM 500GB hard drive (ITS A SATA 3GB LAPTOP HARD DRIVE WILL THAT AFFECT GAMING)

I will be mostly playing Crysis 2 and FC3 Should i buy the GTX 660 whats gonna take to get crysis 2 running at 60FPS maxed out or should i go for the GTX 670

Thanks

correct me if i'm wrong but the graph posted above is not @ "maxed-out" quality.

techpowerup's 800p test are done @2xAA. assuming we "maxed out" means different from what i know then i would agree with you.

also there are driver level enchancements that are switched off during 1280x800.. check tpu's testing methodology.

again im saying this based on the requisite of running the game "maxed-out"

even the 660ti would cry once you crank things max.

i tested Crysis 2 on my core i7 2600k (HD3000). it works on minimum res.
but i'm thinking of 660 or 660Ti.

is it possible to give math for my CPU (i7) and graphics to GPU (660) ? i think that'll give some boost

Yes Crysis 2 will..... i had playing it on intel hd graphics 3000....(my specs:Intel i5 2310(so of course intel hd 3000), 8GB(4+4) RAM, DH61WW motherboard , and NO GRAPHICS CARD!!!) Yet i can play the game on settings such 1024 X 768 resolution, with v sync and full screen ON and system spec at GAMER(default settings on such a system) since u have similar to mine(or perhaps better) specs you should be able to play the game.

It will be at playable graphics but you have to skip the inter mission videos cause they gets distorted(at least for me)...

I donot know about FC2 cause i had never tried it out....yet i would recommend to get a graphics card for even future games as intel hd won't do for long...
