Need help with Formatting

I am just wondering how to format from windowsXP to windows98 ( yes i know this is a retared idea, but i want to know ), how do i do this without anything going wrong. On my old machine i tried windowsXP and its just to damn slow so I want to go back to windows98

Please help me out

Your best option would be to format your drive and do a clean installation again.
