Hey,

It's been 10 years since the last time I built a PC and now I'm trying to build a decent gaming rig in a small form factor. Here are the parts I'm thinking about getting, and I would love your thoughts on it. I'm just slightly worried that the graphics card, motherboard and psu might not fit, but it seems like it should, right?

All thoughts ands suggestions are welcome! :)

I think that getting a hdd for more storage would be a good idea maybe you could downgrade the ssd to a 128 gb one and get a 1 tb or something.

If I´m not wrong you´re planning in Oc tha cpu and a better cooler will come in handy but everything else is good an even the gpu length don´t be a conflict with the Psu.

Thanks for the response. I'm not really planning on OC'ing right away, but I want to be able to do it in the future if I feel like it. Your idea about getting a smaller SSD and a bigger HDD sounds smart.

Try to be sure about the Oc and get a cm 212 evo.
If not save some bucks and get a non K i5, you´re gonna have some good cpu muscle despite of it.

That should work pretty good. The Node 304 is a good choice. I have a Silverstone Grandia for my HTPC.

My maximum budget is $1000. I think the card I specified is Crossfire, and the most important thing is that the card fits in the case and gets sufficient cooling.

So I should get a cm 212 and ditch the stock CPU cooler if I want to overclock, but if I'm definitively not overclocking I can save a few bucks by getting a non K i5?

Yes, you could get the non K 3570 for 212$ or the 3470 for 195$ in amazon if you really go this way you could change the MB also, the one that iceclock said could be a good one and you´re end saving like 70$ from this.
I don´t think that the case will hold a crossfire setup, the best you could go is getting a better gpu, I saw one build with that case and a gtx 680 on it so with what you´re going to save with the cpu maybe a hd 7870.

Assuming I want the 3570, I'm personally not sure if saving $17 is worth it when the tradeoff is losing "overclockability" if I want to do that later. But what you're saying makes sense. I will consider the HD 7870 as well. Thanks.

I'd personally go with the 3470 if you're not overclocking. There's no difference between 3.2 - 3.4GHz. Then you can take that money and put into getting a better GPU.
