Fan no longer working

Hi guys, I decided to put a new case fan in my machine, and when I realised there were no more molex ports from my psu, I plugged it into my other case fan (it had a molex adapter to replace the one it was using) but the new fan recieved power, but now my original fan (which had LEDs and everything) won't power on.

Can you guys please help me get my fan to work again?

EDIT: The cables have come off the fan, and now I can't find the contact points, can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

You've unwittingly diverted power from the other fan to the new fan.

No fan should be powered from another fan.
Both fans must have their own independent power cable from the PSU, or use a double molex connector Y-cable connected to an unused power cable.
