Bios reset??

the other day i was trying to boost speed and graphics in the bios menu. I didn't know what i was doing so i screwed it up. The tower starts (it makes its usual revving noises) but the screen stays black. PLEASE HELP!!! how do i get the screen to work?

yes, so unplug the power, remove the battery for a few minute and then put it back in.

that trick doesnt always work anymore. depends if the bios is written to flash memory or not.

there is a way to reset your cmos/bios without removing the battery. could be a button, or a jumper.

the motherboard is an Intel D946GZIS. I'm tryng to reset the bios by putting the BIOS config jumper into recovery and loading an update on a flash drive. I'll get back to you if it works.
