Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 670 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500~550 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 670 2x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum. http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_670_2_and_3way_sli_review,4.html
  4. Thanks for the quick replies. I think i was not getting any since i posted this very early in the morning.

I ended up getting the Corsair 850 watt PSU. Hopefully it will run GTX 790 when it comes out just fine...

Now i just hope the video card does not fry while i play BF3 in Ultra while streaming and using fraps to record at the same time.
  5. GTX 790 will consume same power as GTX 690 or maybe less power.

790 lol? 850 is waste of money if you notice and btw people dont get on early, my time right now is 3:40am...
850 is good enough for few years especially when you plan to upgrade to Next Gen GPU....
  7. Lol yes a 790. Intel announced their I7-4880K will be released in 2013. I thought they were going to hold on to Haswell up until 2014.

But i mainly play World of Warcraft and Battlefield 3. I have an i7-3770K... i am just worry that the SUPERCLOCKED GTX 670 video card won't fry. My friend's video card burned (smoke came out of it) and it was from the GTX 600 series lol..

  9. You can even SLI GTX 690 or 790 in that supply.
  10. I know. You can fit 1 at least ;-)
I won't have to replace that PSU for a couple of years or more depending on the games i want to play.

Is replacing PSU a hassle? I never did.

  12. I wouldn't get the H60 because of cooling performance... oh well, if you got it, make it pull!!!
