Your question

GTX 675m, throttle? driver issue?

December 14, 2012 4:55:29 AM

I'm having trouble with my MSI GT70 with GTX 675m, massive fps drops when GPU usage drops, it happens when the temperature achieve 72C, and there is a connection with the CPU in my case it is ¡7 3610qm 2.3ghz, when I fix the CPU clock to 2.3 all the time, the game seems to run more stabilized, BUT still there is massive FPS drops around 72C. So I ask your opinion, this is the famous throttle issue at 72C? Or maybe it is CPU bottlenecking my GPU? Or perhaps a driver issue?
I would be forever in your debt, if you could solve my problem somehow.

HDD: 750GB 7200RPM
LED Panel: 17.3'' FHD, 1920x1080 (Non-Glare type)
