Which middle range GPU should I buy?

the 7850 1GB is a great lower cost card, but even with a MIR you are still looking at $165. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

If that is too much for your budget (which would be great for you to mention), then look at the 7770 ($130 or $110 after MIR) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The Nvidia GTX 650 Ti splits the difference between these two at about $140 (120 after MIR), but the 7850 1gb is significantly better and the 7770 isn't that much slower. But this might give you an in between option. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

There's plenty of 7770 at that price :

Just make sure that you have a decent psu with ~450w with a 6-pin pcie connector.

+1 to that MSI at overclockers. Great price on a Ghz edition 7770. Go with that considering your budget and the strength of the 7770 in this price range.
