I would like to use some of my old hard drives as a portable storage system. eg maybe mp3's or jpegs. Does anyone know of a good system that could use. Maybe something that will connect via USB. My OS is Windows 98SE

You can get removeable drive racks for cheap. Each computer must have one, but it'd work well.

You can buy external enclousers for USB and 1394/Firewire. They're expensive and not as cheap as Fatburgers idea.

And slower. But easier to work with, which may be the most important factor.
