I am trying to figure out what is a good option for graphics reagrding my newly built desktop. Currently im running my old card a Nvidia 8800 GTS 512. This card works well but is falling out with some of the new games and programs. What I am trying to figure out is would putting two 8800 GTS 512's in SLI be better then buying a new card? My budget for a new card is about $150 and a second 8800 GTS 512 would only cost $50. My motherboard, processor, and power supply support SLI as well as PCIE 3.0.
What is the best option? Will SLI on that older card be a good option?

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68V-GEN3
CPU: i7 3770k
PSU: Antec 620w

It's not worth it, two old 8800gts in SLI, specially older series which they scale poorly.
Get a 7850 1GB it's a good card for about the budget you have :

If you want cheaper but still better than the sli option, but not near as good as the 7850 :
a c 105 U Graphics card
