How do you find if mobo IDE controller supports UATA 33, 66, 100 or 133?
I have ASUS P2B-F.
Sorry its no longer supported in ASUS website, and we got no doc.

Thank you very much.

It supports UDMA33. All newer drives are backwards compatable. Most UDMA100 drives do not exceed 33MB/s anyway except in cache burst.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

UDMA33 is the limmitation of the chipset, not the BIOS.

I've got the same board. It only supports Ultra DMA/33.

If you want higher, you'll have to get an addon PCI ATA controller card.

Its max is ATA33.
If you want some info, I have the manual of the board (not pdf, the real manual).

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground   .
