Hello,
I have a friend that needs help. He is going to buy an hd 7750. The problem is the local psu. Can anyone help us?

This is what I saw on the sticker on the psu:

+5V - 39A
+12V - 16A
-5V - 0.5A
-12V - 0.5A
+3.3V - 34A
+5VSB - 2A

600watts

If the psu will be ok he will buy the hd 7750 but if not he will buy a gt 640

He is going to buy on monday. Thanks! :)

7750 doesn't require any PSU.

You friend should buy a new PSU, a 600w PSU with 16A on the 12v rail is not a modern 600w PSU

More than likely it is a POS and could take you the system in its entirety

Thanks for the replies. He cant buy since he is on a tight budget. What other cards can you suggest that can support the psu?

The 7750 is the best choice, but keep in mind that PSU is junk.

no, it uses more power and is significantly slower

as I, as WE said,

Sometimes, some games, but they get fixed and updated just like Nvidia. They're newest 12.11 actually show a big improvement on 7xxx series cards, and a lot of the recent big name games are optimized for AMD.
