Hello,
I have a second hand acer aspire one laptop/notebook. Come up with message "No bootable device-- insert boot disk and press any key"

I dont have a boot disk and I have windows xp 2002 home edition disk that I have put in an external dvd player. It says it is going through window set up then I get a blue screen saying " A problem has been deteted and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: check for viruses on your computer etc.... but i cant do anything because when I restart the computer it comes up with the same screen.... No bootable device..........
Can anyone help me please??
