Hi I am new to the forum so forgive me if i post anything wrong.
This built is going to be my new computer for the next 4-5 years , and its my first build.
The main purpose for this built is to play some games( maxed out settings maybe high for those graphic intensive games), watch movies, doing homework creating powerpoint and word documents.
I am from Singapore so i can't get access to newegg or amazon, so all the parts listed are all going to get locally in Singapore or if any of you could suggest where i could get better parts online that provides international shipping.
My budget is around SGD$1200-1350 which equates to around USD$950-1100.

The parts for my build are:

Case-Xigmatek Asgard 382 orange (SGD 79)
CPU and motherboard- Intel I5-3570k + Asus P8Z77-V LX (SGD 464) [Price are placed together as they come together]
GPU-Club3d HD7950 3gb DDR5 (SGD339)
Ram- 2 Kingston PC3 1600MHz 8GB Total 16Gb ram (SGD 88)
SSD-OCZ Agility 4 128GB ($128)
HDD- Seagate 1TB 7200rpm 64mb cache (SGD94)
PSU-Cooler Master Extreme 2 725W (SGD109)
DVD drive - SAMSUNG 24X SATA DVDRW OEM(SGD 22)
Total for the build SGD1323 (USD1070)

This is generally my build. I plan to overclock in the future but i decided to leave out the water cooling unit first and add it in in the future due to budget constraints. Please give me suggestions on my build about compatibility and if there is anyway to improve it. Thanks to all.

I agree with the memory. You don't Need 16 GB. 8 GB is the sweet spot for gaming I'd say.

I would recommend a better quality Power Supply. Generally speaking Cooler Master doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to PSUs. Antec are both very solid brands.

Not familiar with the Club3d for the GPU. I do like Sapphire or XFX.

Everything else looks alright.
