Hello, I'm thinking about getting an upgrade from my old (well fairly new) 7750 2GB to a Sapphire 7850 2GB - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11200-14-20G-Card-HD78... I've checked so that every thing works and is compatable. It's just for the upgrade, is it really worth it?

More about : 7750 7850

depends on your system specs and what resolution you play at, but yea, thats a pretty big step up in performance.

I play at 1280x1024 and my system specs are:FX-6100 6 cores 3.3 GHz, Corsair vengeance 8 GB 1600 MHz, Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P AM3+ and FSP 500Watt-60apn 80plus

well at that resolution, a 7850 should be able to max mostly any game, but i would be careful with that power supply.

it should, as long as the power supply is healthy.

what isnt the 7750 satisying you even at such low resolution ? just curious.
the 7850 is about twice of a 7750 in performance and power consumption

In Just cause 2 when I have settings to medium / high I get 38 fps all the time and at low settings I get 60-75 and in BF3 at low I get 55-70 and minecraft max 40 - 89. I think that will give you an idea...
