I need help asap, about to order

the 680's in SLI gets my vote!..Your gonna hear people say CF does scale better but the 680 is better performing as it is. So two of them? beast combo

I would go GTX 680 as you are not in a budget, if you were in a budget I would suggets the 7970.

Yes the GTX680 is faster (not by much) but for the price the 7970 is a better deal. One GTX680 is $450 and one 7970 is $350 (best price found on newegg). The xfx 7970 comes with three free games and is only about 3-4% slower than the GTX680 so in my opinion it's crazy to get the GTX680. If you want to x-fire/SLI save yourself alot of money and go with the 7970 set up.

Yeah like djangoringo said, a GTX 670 in SLI would be really good, and cheaper. I prefer Nvidia in this no-budget case because he will have the advantage of PhSyx

The 7970 with the new drivers beat the GTX670 set up. Again! MSI GTX670 $350 with two free games. XFX AMD 7970 $350 with three free games plus the 7970 is about 2% faster (overall) than the GTX670. But it all depends on the games you play. Some are Nvidia and some are AMD.

No Problem! I just want the OP to be well informed. All of these gpu's are great cards  It all depends on what you want and how much you can spend. Then again if you x-fire/sli any of these cards that were mentioned they will all provide crazy performance.
