Hey there, I have an IBM Thinpad laptop that is about 4-6 years old, it has a Core 2 Duo @ 2ghz, 2gb of ram, and a 128mb graphics card. The card has 128mb dedicated, but I am sharing approximately 700mb of ram to the card, so it has 828.xxmb. Although it is a fairly old chip, it has pixel and taxes shader version 3.0, and I can run fallout 3 at a solid 45-60fps on low at 1080x720, and I can play cod4 at the highest resolution and the highest graphics settings at about 20-30 fps. (No aa or af) can you recommend some games that I should be able to play? I don't care what settings, as long as I can run it at 720p. Thanks in advance.
You could probably do Skyrim, I know that fallout 3 and Oblivion use the same graphics, and even the scenery is the same, they just change things like caves, into transit entrances. The point being, it looks like Skyrim is the same way.
skyrim may lag, ive got a laptop with a geforce 315m 512mb and 6gb of RAM and an i3 proccessor and it does struggle a bit, try though on lowest setting and work your way up to see which setting your laptop performs best at
