Is HD 7970 good for crossfiring or GTx 680 good for SLI ? (MSI edition)

they are both rather amazing...
I chose the 7970 due to performance upgrade it got with recent drivers and its extra Gb of Vram seemed to be better for my 5760x1080 set up...
but I do miss physX(buuut... you can always put in a dedicated physX card along with the 7970's and still come out cheaper than 2x 680's)

its down to what res you play at...your love for physx/cuda.... your budget/psu..

I cannot personally suggest one over the other without knowing more..

Unless you are running more than one screen while gaming, I don't recommend multi card setups. They still have issues. I always say get the single fastest gpu you can afford. That would be the 7970 GHZ. If you are going to use 3x screens, I still recommend Crossfire over SLI.

Yeah I second this. Get one 7970 GHz, and Crossfire gets double scaling while SLI only gets 70-80%.
