Hello everyone, I am a college student who is trying to build credit to get a chevy camaro 2013 I have about 4 grand on a secured card but i only wish to spend anywhere from 2-2.5 grand on the system so i can pay it off quickly.

I'm probably going to change the RAM out with the black colored same version of it so that it looks better in the case. Also, this is my first water cooling build so please input. I read the thread on how to waterloop and how to set it up and the basics in the main thread but I've looked at several coolants. I also understand that most games don't need Hyperthreading so i just took an i5 3570k instead of a i7 3770k. My reasoning for picking the GTX 670 4GB is because I'm more then likely going to use 2 -3 monitors and the extra 2GB of vid memory I've read helps out with multiple screens so the GTX 680 2GB is out of the question. Another big plus is I chose the Saber Tooth mobo because it has shielding which could save me if a leak sprung in the water cooling build.

Please tweak, and give me constructive criticism I've gone through so many different build ideas its not funny. :hello:

ALSO: Cougar 120mm fans or Scythe fans? And when i mount the radiator I'm wanting to remove that bottom left hard drive cage in the case and place it between the front and the PSU and mount a fan on the bottom to bring in cool air then fans ontop to push the hot air out and change the front fan to shoot the air out to expel the hot air quickly from the radiator.

The asus sabertooth z77 is overpriced due to the gimmicky "thermal armor". I suggest the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 instead.

Edit: didn't notice your explanation for choosing the sabertooth, but I have to dispute that reasoning. Looking at that board, the shielding wouldn't stop the water from leaking onto your components, and would probably make it harder to dry off if a leak happens. Also, with a tower case like that, the video card is in the most danger of being leaked onto, and the thermal armor of the sabertooth board would provide zero protection to the video card. If you're including the gpu in the watercooling setup, water from there would most likely leak onto the psu, but if you mount the psu with the fan down, it's unlikely to take much damage from such a leak.

You have an i7 listed.

As for the 670, it's a better choice than a 680 anyways. The 680 is only 5% faster but 25-30% more expensive.

(I will always argue against a Sabertooth, by the way. It's a mid-range board with the thermal armor, and while that's the best reason for wanting armor I've seen, keep in mind that it acts as insulation - so the board runs hotter than it should.)

As for fans, I'd personally go with Corsair fans - I love them. (But both the ones you listed are extremely good - just noisy.)

Changed Mobo to the toms hardware choice awarded one on newegg the one
MauveCloud mentioned. Thanks mate!

Also, DarkSable I will look at corsair fans because it would defeat the purpose of water cooling if it was noisy haha. Also its supposed to be i5 3570k as there's no i7 3570k I apologize for the Typo I've been up since 5am.

Any coolant ideas other then distilled water I'm sure there is something better out there and I don't mind playing a chemist.

EDIT: I will ensure to mount the PSU face down MauveCloud. Also do you think the mounting is possible that I am wanting for the radiator I can change cases just throw some suggestions I'm trying to make everything match as best as possible lights wise and look wise so pick a color pref blue, red or orange.
