I'm about to build a new system and just want some input from the community. first off I'm building this rig for gaming (flight sims mostly). I'm not sure what DDR3 Ram to buy kinda confused about the MHZ. Not sure if I should go 1600 or 2133 or higher. I'm looking at the corsair veng. or Dominator platnium just not sure what Ram to get, to get the most out of my new rig. Here is what i have so far...

Asus Maximus V extreme
Corsair 1050 gold power supply
2- Samsung 256 840 SSD's
Intel I7 2600K CPU
1-EVGA 680 Classified 4gb mem.

Any input would be appreciated.... as well as advice :)

You could definitely save some money, you do not need to spend that much to have a great gaming build! That motherboard is overkill. You don not need 4 video cards!1050W is way more than you need, even a 750W power supply will handle SLI GTX 680s with room for overclocking, 1050W is only useful if you want to go tri-sli, which is honestly a waste of money, and only good for bragging rights... The Intel 2600k is a great processor, but Sandy Bridge is last-gen.. Get a 3770k, it's Intel's current high end CPU.. Getting 2 SSDs, is kinda pointless, they are fast enough you don't need RAID, and you are much better getting a single SSD for the OS and programs, and a regular hard drive for storage.. The 4GB GTX 680 is only useful if you are running very high resolutions, if you are running multiple monitors or a single 1440pé1600p screen then I would get it if you can afford it, if you are only running a single 1080P screen it would be pointless. I would go for the Corsair Vengeance, it`s quite a bit cheaper, and doesn`t effect performance too much.. Read this article from a few days ago:

You should go with the Maximus V gene or Sabertooth Z77 mobo, Intel core i7 3770K CPU. 16GB(8*2) of GSkill ripjawsx 2133Mhz DDR3 memory, Corsair H60 liquid CPU cooler, a Asus matrix 7970 video card, a Corsair 850W Power supply and a Corsair 600T computer case.
You will get a jaw breaking gaming computer. :)

HD: Western Digital Black 1tb 7200 rpm
Ram: ???? DDR3 not sure the speed or manuf. lol
PSU: 750W PSU
