Hey there guys, I've been researching a new gaming pc for a few days. I read a LOT here at Tom'sHardware, Great community must say.

So, my budget in euros is around 600e. This is the build I've arranged, would like your advice, opinion on the parts i already chose, expecially if they are all compatible (i think so)

Note that I do NOT plan on OC'ing nor having more than a single GPU.

CPU: Intel Core i5 3470
MOBO: ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP
Memory: Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Memory Kit CL9 1.5V
Graphics: SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 7850 - 2 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 3.0 (11200-07-22G)

Power: Considering the above, something around 450w will do ?

Case: Need a Huge help here on compatibility... I dont care if the case is pretty. I want it to make my components feel at home with all the outputs out and that stuff.

Optical: Cheapest dvd writter i can find

About the HD7850 it says 11200-07-22G....there are some 11200-07-20G and others..Does it really mather much ?

THANKS in advance guys =)

Looks good to me. And 500w would be more than enough. Everything should work fine.

How about the case ? any expert on it able to tell me on that fits everything ? Don't want an expensive/pretty one... Ventilation to consider perhaps ? =S

What is your country of origin and what store are you buying from? If you post that it will help to suggest parts. If you don't know one check the link in my signature.

Wow those prices seem quite a bit expensive especially for the RAM. I found some cheaper RAM instead: http://www.kuantokusta.pt/1/242556/Corsair-8GB-Vengeanc...

If you want to run any decent GPU your 430W power supply will be very underpowered. Get this instead: http://www.kuantokusta.pt/1/141981/Seasonic-S12II-620W

That ram u told me i can find for like 5euros less..doesnt make that much of a diference...

Overall, do u think the build is good ? in terms of compatibility and all the components quite match ?
Kinda have the though the CPU is too good for the GPU for instance...

That build does look good but you will need a much stronger power supply if you plan to run any decent GPU down the road - the CX430 is a very weak power supply

Thank you G =)

Did a little bit more research, I think a Corsair VS series VS550W would do ..and its only 5euros more...

About the case, a store here suggested me the Asus TA K62, really cheap, not ugly at all and seems to have all that is needed.

U got any though about the GPU ? those numbers at the end...such a little change but such a change in the price...
SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 7850 - 2 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 3.0 (11200-07-22G) <-----

Many thanks G

Cheap cases aren't worth it - you'll most likely be replacing that in a couple of months. They cut corners on construction with sharp edges and poor quality materials. Don't buy if you ask me.

The 7850 is good and I buy Sapphire cards a lot - they make quality products.
