Most silent cooler for i7 Ivy Bridge

Hello, I don't know if this is the correct forum to post because I'm not going to overclock.

What is the most silent cooler I can get for an i7 Ivy Bridge? I want a silent/effective cooler, of course.

My budget doesn't matter, the motherboard is Asus Sabertooth P67.

well, hyper 212 evo is even good for oc'ing if you want overclock in the future.

I don't have much notion about cooling, but don't 40~50dbA is quite loud in idle?

Ops, sorry, maybe the review was wrong, didn't check the official page.

Well, but is this cooler the best I can get?

If possible, does anyone have another suggestion? I'm from Brazil and I can't find this cooler to buy here.

What's your budget, what case do you have, and how is your airflow?

The most silent cooler is the NH-D14 or silver arrow but since your not overclocking and both are quite big i don't think it's the best option for you maybe the Cooler Master 212 Evo would work well for you.

Don't worry about the budget, my case will be Antec P280 and I dunno about the airflow

IMO, the BEST silent cooler you could get would be a custom water cooling loop with low RPM fans and a nice big radiator.

For a more simple air cooling setup, I have heard nothing but good (aside from the massive size) about the Noctua NH-D14's cooling performance and lack of noise.

Then consider a Noctua NH-D14 or a Zalman CNPS9900MAX. Both are higher end air coolers. Both are massive.

if you have too look around at the cooler you can pick up near you local. if you can pick up a clone of the 212 just swap the fan for a low noise one. look for a larger fan 120-140mm and have it run at slow speeds.
