Best GFX card for the money?

Hey guys!
I'm looking to buy a new graphics card this Christmas, as my current Radeon 4350 is starting to fail me.

I'm on a budget of about $150 or less, which I think can get me a fairly reasonable card.

Specs:
GA-78LMT Mobo:

AMD FX-4100 Black Edition Processor (3.6GHz)
4GB RAM (upgrading to 8GB this Christmas)

What is the best card I could get? I'm looking to be able to play games like Metro and Battlefield, while still having money left over. I don't care if it's nVidia or Radeon, as long as I can afford it and it gets the job done.

If anyone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated.

$154.99 after rebates. I think it's the best card you can get for that price.

If rebates aren't OK, you should get this one instead then:

Keep in mind though, both cards need a 6-pin power connector from the power supply unit.
  4. Thanks to everyone who helped!

I will probably be shooting for the EVGA GTX 650 Ti card:

    I appreciate the help.
  5. You can get the 650 ti EVGA SSC at 139.99$ and after rebate : $119.99
Amazon is a reputable site vendor.

Any 600 series from nvidia comes with assassins creed 3, independent of the online site.
Also make sure your psu is a decent one.
  6. Good choice - have fun with it :-) I'm curious - why would anyone not be OK with rebates? I'm not American and we don't have rebates here but don't you just fill in a form and then get money back?

Well, I don't want to pay all the money up front. =/

Ah OK so it's just a question of not having the immediate funds then? No other drawbacks?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. At least for me, anyways.
  10. Some people have really bad luck with not getting their rebate back though, esipcally through that 4 my rebate place, I've never had a problem my self though.
  11. Go with amazon bro, you can get a fairly new one that was used from some sellers.

  12. Does it matter where he buys from? Both Amazon and Newegg offers new cards.

I'm buying from Newegg because they give you AC3 with it ($50), and Amazon only gives a $20 rebate.
