Hello, I'm looking to buy a new gaming PC and I am by no means a PC expert, so I'd like some guidance on whether this is a decent gaming PC. I am hoping to be able to play modern games. The likes of ARMA 2, Planetside 2, Skyrim, Battlefield 3 on high and hopefully the best graphics possible. I hope to be able to achieve this on a PC costing around only £800 if that is possible. So far I went on www.cyberpowersystems.co.uk and here are its specs:

CPU - AMD FX-8350 4.00GHz Eightcore
Memory - 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3/1600mhz Dual Channel Memory
Graphics Card - Nvidia GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB
Hard Drive - 500GB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 16MB
Motherboard - Gigabyte 78LMT/USB3 AMD 760G Chipset, Micro ATX Mainboard w/ 4 RAM slot, 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-II, 1 PCIe X16, 1 PCIe X1, & 1 PCI
Sound Card - Asus Xonar DG 5.1 Channels PCI
Operating System - Windows 8
PSU - 500 Watts Power Supply

Cost - £798.00

Is this good enough for gaming? Will it work well? And finally do I need any changes?

you will be able to play games at max or close to max graphics.

but be better with an i5 processor

system has good vid card/ram amount, and medium everything else. if you build yourself you will save about 100-150 (in your currency)

I agree with gussrtk in switch to an intel i5. In my opinion Intel produce better quality CPUs.
