that was compared to dual 7950 i think? i think you may be ok overclocked. for the tiny bit extra money you might as well get the 6300 or 8300 and be better off.

Your PCIe x16/x4 crossfire could be an issue in some gaming.

AsRock on the x4 slot shares bandwidth with the southbridge

Get a 970 extreme 4 and your SLI will be x8/x8. When I ran SLI with this chip I had it clocked at 4.3ghz and ha no bottleneck when gaming at 1920x1080. Did suffer some bottleneck when I went up to 5760x1080. x2 560's

stick with a single video card, especially if you have a slower cpu like the 6100. Dual cards will give you more microstuttering (even more so than usual) if you dont have a serious cpu to keep up the fps in cpu bound titles. Get a better single card, and upgrade to a piledriver cpu, that will see a good overall improvement in gaming. Crossfire gives you a high average framerate, but it does not provide a smopoth gaming experience, unless you feel like stuffing around with radeon pro. I have been there and tried that, and now im selling my crossfire 6850's.
