Can anyone grade this budget build, and make it even cheaper?

I am looking at the budget build on that website. It is pretty cheap, but my budget is pretty tight, and coming up with the 617 dollars to get all of the parts plus Windows 7 is going to be a stretch. I already have a pretty nice monitor, plus a keyboard and mouse. Is that build good enough to run any game on at least medium settings? Also, can anybody here who has actual knowledge of computer builds find a way to make this build cheaper without dropping the performance below the ability to run any game on at least medium settings smoothly? I need any help with that I can get, so that I can get the computer. I really want to begin gaming on a PC, with games like Guild Wars 2, SMITE, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, Tribes, and so many others that I cannot experience on my console. Thanks so much!

Will these parts work in this build? And will it be sacrificing much?

The case isn't great but will work.

The GPU will only get you low-ish settings at 1080p.

The motherboard will work but you will lose USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0. Its also is only a PCIe 2.0 slot for the GPU. Its a VERY cheap and old board. I would stick with original one.
