Help Me Please

I have recently connected my two computers and my cable modem to a router, One computer can connect to the internet but the other one wont connect. What do i do to fix this? I dont know if it matters but one comp. is running windows 2k (the one that connects to the internet), and one is running windows XP (this one wont connect). Did i set it up wrong or sutin please help if you can.

Did you enable DHCP on the one running Windows XP? Go to a command prompt and type in "ipconfig /renew". If it connects after that, then that's the problem.
